My client in Vorarlberg (Austria) needs the immediately incorporation to their team of a Freelance System Engineer (m/f/x) expert in Active Directory.
Framework:
Start: ASAP
Duration of contract: until 31.03.2026 + extensions
Capacity: full-time
Location: :Vorarlberg, Austria
Workplace: 90% on-site in Vorarlberg (first weeks full on-site on-boarding) and 10 % remote (after on-boarding 1 day homeoffice is possible)
Spoken languages in the team: German and English- both on fluent level are a must have
Role Description:
- Integration of multiple international companies/locations into a central Active Directory infrastructure
- Analysis and further development of the existing Active Directory infrastructure
- Design, implementation, and review of group policies
- Close collaboration and coordination with the CISOs of the international locations regarding security guidelines
- Assessment and closure of identified technological gaps
- Technical implementation in the Active Directory environment - assuming the role of Global Administrator
- Synchronisation of user accounts and data between different systems
- Technical implementation and sub-project management in the area of Cloud Identity and Infrastructure
- Documentation and handover to internal decision-makers
Candidate Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer
- Advanced knowledge of Entra ID and Active Directory
- Experience leading international teams in global corporate structures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
