Essential Skills:
Fluent English language skills (Written & Verbal)
Proven experience delivering enterprise-level Identity & Access Management (IAM) projects end-to-end, from planning and design to implementation and steady-state handover
Experience with SailPoint IIQ and the implementation of an IAM system, including JML processes, SoD management, Recertification and Business Roles.
Project experience in mid-sized companies – ideally outside of a strictly regulated environment (e.g. banks, insurance, financial services)
Experience managing technical project teams and coordinating across IT, security, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure IAM initiatives meet operational and regulatory requirements
Desirable Skills:
German language skills
Industry certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
Experience with regulatory compliance and audit frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA
Background in delivering IAM projects within highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government, or critical infrastructure)
Familiarity with cloud security and hybrid IAM deployments across on-prem and cloud platforms
Overview:
Our client is seeking a Freelance SailPoint IAM Technical Project Manager to lead strategic Identity & Access Management initiatives driving the SailPoint Implementation and Integration. This individual will take ownership of IAM project delivery, coordinating technical teams, vendor partners, and business stakeholders to implement robust access control and governance solutions.
You will oversee the planning and execution of IAM integrations, onboarding of key business applications such as SAP and ServiceNow, and implementation of industry-leading IAM platforms. Your work will ensure that identity management processes and technologies are optimised for operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction.
This is a high-impact, leadership-focused position requiring deep IAM knowledge and strong project management skills to successfully execute complex, enterprise-scale identity programmes.
