Project Description:
Our client is running a digital transformation program and is looking for a Power Platform Data Engineer with strong expertise in Power BI and the Microsoft Co-Pilot ecosystem. The goal is to establish advanced reporting solutions, leveraging AI-driven Co-Pilot capabilities, and ensure seamless integration into existing data workflows.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business KPIs
Implement and configure Microsoft Co-Pilot functionality within the reporting environment
Connect and optimize various data sources (Azure SQL, Dataverse, Excel, ERP/CRM systems) for reporting use
Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance across the platform
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Provide best practices for Power Platform architecture and automation
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, report building)
Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse)
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, SQL, Synapse optional)
Understanding of Co-Pilot AI integration within the Microsoft ecosystem
Strong skills in data engineering, ETL pipelines, and performance optimization
Fluent English and German
Nice-to-Have:
Background in ERP/CRM transformations (Dynamics 365, SAP, or similar)
Experience with AI/ML-driven reporting solutions
Knowledge of compliance standards (GDPR, data security in EU context)
