Role: Senior SAP ARIBA developer
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Onsite/Hybrid: Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite/month
Mode: Freelance B2B contract
Contract Duration: 1 year + option to extend
Job Description:-
Tasks/Activities:
1. Catalog connections (including office supplies)
2. Implementation of negotiated rate cards ("internal" catalog) in SAP ARIBA
3. Adaptation/optimization of authorization concept / authorization roles Analysis of current authorizations/roles as well as other requirements
• Conception of a lean authorization structure
• Coordination within the project organization
• Adapting the authorization concept in the customer layout
• Definition of test scenarios and implementation in the test system
• Cut Over to Production
4. Centralization of further product groups on SAP ARIBA forms (guided buying) and coordination with stakeholders of the already identified product groups
• Clarify system-side requirements with stakeholders (tax codes, G/L accounts, cost centers, etc.) and their requirements for the form (guided buying)
• Review of deferred product groups and feasibility check
• Implementation in the SAP ARIBA and ERP test system
• Cut Over to Production
5. Reporting Options
• Determination of further reporting requirements and definition of reports
• Creation of reports for use in the test/prod system
6. Centralization of two entities (to be completed by 31.03.2026)
• Determination of the necessary to-dos for the centralization of the two entities with their own existing company codes in the ERP (implementation of the MM module if necessary)
• Regular coordination within the project organization
• Implementation in the SAP ARIBA test system and ERP
• Cut over to the production
7. Introduction of the ARIBA module Contract Management Inventory Analysis of Existing Contracts
• Clarify system-side requirements with Strategic Purchasing and their requirements for contracts
• Conception with all parameters (incl. link to SAP ARIBA Buying) and implementation in the test system incl. testing
• Cut over to the production
• Implementation of model contracts agreed with the legal department
• Preparation Upload of existing contract documents
8. Training services for purchasing employees Determination of training needs
• Preparation of training documents
• Implementation of training courses
9. Project management of the points/tasks incl. regular status calls (1-2 per week)
Required knowledge:
• Fundamental knowledge of purchasing processes in credit institutions
• Extensive knowledge in the implementation and optimization/adaptation of SAP ARIBA modules
• Extensive knowledge of configuring/customizing SAP ERP systems
• Project management know-how
