It is a reactive dataflow engine, a data stream processing framework using the Vert.x toolkit.ResponsibilitiesDrive topics around data persistence and consumption in backendDrive improvements around system connectivity and data exchange protocols (OData)Evaluate and improve tools to support operational efficiency, reliability, and observabilityAct as a Developer on Duty depending on calendar schedule during working timeRequired Skills & ExperienceVery experienced in software development for production applications in Java (11+)Understanding of reactive and asynchronous programming conceptsImplementation of integration design patterns, especially in a microservices or event-driven architectureBuilding and tuning large-scale, high-performance web applicationsExperience with Vert.x (or similar frameworks, e.g., Akka)Experience in SAP BTPUnderstanding of the OData specification (Open Data Protocol)Experience with Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker, or other container technologiesExperience in OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, GrafanaExperience in Helm chart authoringComfortable working with testing frameworks (JUnit 5 is a plus)Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsDevOps mindset with hands-on infrastructure skillsNice to HaveExperience with SAP HANA DBSAP KymaNode.js
