We are seeking an experienced DeltaV Recipe Design Lead to oversee the design and delivery of automation solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a particular focus on recipe design and integration within a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the recipe design, configuration, and testing activities within the DeltaV DCS in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Ensure that recipe design aligns with project requirements, GMP compliance, and established site or corporate library standards.
• Oversee and coordinate DeltaV–Syncade MES integration, ensuring recipes and workflows are harmonized between systems.
• Apply hands-on expertise with the DeltaV DVI module to support design, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
• Manage and mentor a team of 10–15 engineers, ensuring efficient task allocation, quality delivery, and professional development.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including process engineers, MES teams, validation, and QA, to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.
• Drive design reviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to maintain alignment and manage changes effectively.
• Provide technical oversight, enforce standards, and ensure deliverables meet the agreed scope, quality, and timeline.
Required Qualifications
• 12–15+ years of hands-on pharmaceutical automation experience with DeltaV DCS in GMP environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in DeltaV–Syncade integration, including workflow and data exchange design.
• Practical, hands-on experience with the DVI module in live projects.
• Strong leadership background, having led teams of 10–15 engineers or automation professionals on large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Important criteria to consider:
- pharma automation experience using DeltaV DCS (minimum should be 12-15 years)
- Lonza Visp library experience
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Manufacturing Engineering MES
- experience with DeltaV-Syncade integration
- experience on DVI module on the project executed
- experience with leading a team of 10-15 people
