IT System Specialist

Project Duration: 01/01/2026 - 31/12/2030 (5 years) Workload: 100% Location: Aarau, Switzerland



Main Responsibilities:



Identify client needs and expectations regarding hardware and software

Develop solution proposals and decision-making documents based on requirements

Evaluate hardware, operating systems, standard software, communication tools and universal applications

Install, configure, adapt, integrate, test and release new hardware and software

Analyse the impact of new ICT components on existing systems and provide recommendations

Support and advise system developers and users on technical matters

Define and/or create system backup measures, checklists for change/problem management, and data backup policies

Troubleshoot and resolve faulty system states

Improve installation and handover processes

Implement concepts for system tuning and performance optimisation

Detect and resolve or bypass faults in hardware, software and communication components

Create procedures, escalation processes and workflows for exceptional situations (e.g. recovery or restart)

Execute complex reconstruction and restart procedures

Ensure system documentation and compliance with system guidelines





Requirements:

Mandatory Skills:



Education in IT (HF or FH) or equivalent qualification

ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Certificate

Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, network security and general IT

Fluent in German

Business-level English
