Director of Client Solution Delivery (interim)

As Interim Director of Solution Delivery, you will take on end-to-end responsibility for the successful development and delivery of customized software solutions. In this role, you will ensure operational continuity, safeguard delivery excellence, and prepare the foundation for a seamless handover to the permanent role.



You will lead a team of 4–5 project managers, oversee the delivery of approximately five projects per month, and serve as the critical link between project execution, stakeholder success, and executive leadership. Acting as a hands-on leader, you will guide your team through a period of transition while preparing the function for sustainable, long-term success.



Key Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of the delivery of software projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality outcomes

- Lead, mentor, and support a team of 4–5 project managers during this interim phase

- Oversee project reviews, delivery processes, and follow-ups in a structured and hands-on manner

- Collaborate closely with development, delivery, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and transparency

- Support hiring and onboarding efforts to strengthen the team for the future

- Prepare and ensure a smooth handover to the incoming permanent Director of Solution Delivery



Qualifications:

- Proven experience in project or program management within software development / the tech industry

- Extremely structured and reliable, with strong work ethic and a deep understanding of quality in project delivery

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and mentor teams during periods of transition

- Track record of managing multiple, parallel projects successfully

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with executive leadership

- Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach

- Fluent English; German is a great plus
