Job Title: IT Service Manager – (Microsoft 365 & Identity/Authentications)



Location: Stuttgart (3x days a week onsite is mandatory)

Contract: 6 months (extension likely)



About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Manager / Project Manager to take ownership of our Microsoft collaboration and identity/authentication services. You will be responsible for ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-efficient operations of Microsoft platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure SQL, SQL Server) and identity services (Active Directory, SSO, MFA, etc.).

This role requires strong stakeholder management skills, service governance expertise, and a proven background in IT operations.



Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of Microsoft and identity/authentication solutions.

Oversee budgeting, cost optimization, and financial transparency.

Ensure smooth daily operations, including SLA and performance monitoring.

Define and improve ITIL-based processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration).

Act as a bridge between IT, Security, Procurement, and Business units.

Drive secure and compliant use of services through automation, policy enforcement, and user training.

Deliver roadmaps, KPI reports, and business case analyses for ongoing service improvements.



Skills & Experience Required:

Strong expertise in Microsoft platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server).

Deep knowledge of Identity & Authentication technologies (Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, MFA).

Proven track record in IT service management and IT operations.

Experience with ITIL processes and governance/compliance frameworks (ITIL, ISO, security policies).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Fluent English (German language skills are an advantage).
