Unix-Systemadministrator (m/w/d)
We are seeking a dedicated IT UNIX Support Specialist to provide high-level technical support for our customer infrastructure, specifically linked to the deployment of innovative new projects (e.g., Artificial Intelligence). In this role, you will ensure the stability and evolution of the systems by utilizing professional ticketing systems for Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management. 100% On-site presence in Munich and willingness for SÜ 2 is mandatory.
Educational Background: A degree in IT (Computer Science or related field) or a solid professional background in IT services. Operating Systems: Mandatory knowledge of Unix or Linux (preferably Red Hat or Oracle Linux). Documentation Skills: Proven ability to write clear and structured technical documentation. Soft Skills: High motivation to learn and a proactive approach to troubleshooting. Preferred/Plus Backup Management: Experience with backup systems, particularly Veritas NetBackup. Virtualization: Knowledge of VMware or KVM. Windows Administration: Familiarity with Windows Server environments. Methodology: Knowledge of the ITIL framework. Advanced Topics: Any experience with SAP BASIS or Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is considered a significant advantage.
