For our client in the consumer goods manufacturing industry, we are urgently seeking a Test Manager (m/f/d) who can contribute his or her knowledge to the project and provide advice and support.HintergrundThe current sales platform is a customized SharePoint 2016 solution which will no longer be supported by Microsoft after April 2026. Main driver for this project is a technological re-design of the IT-platform with a new infrastructure and technology stack that is fast and easy rolled out to other countries as well with a special focus on mobile first supporting native capabilities such offline synchronization, delta merge and integration for Apple and Android phone and tablet devices.AufgabenDefine and document comprehensive manual and automated test strategies for assigned projects/products, includingtest plansspecification techniquesphasesenvironmentstools andautomationEstablish entry and exit criteria, defect management strategies, and negotiate test-related roles and responsibilities within product teamsConduct QA risk analyses and implement contingency plans, set up metrics to measure progress and product quality and continuously align test approaches with global QA standardsLead test execution:set up test environmentsprepare test data/usersmonitor test progressinitiate corrective actionsand ensure test activities are completed in line with objectivesStakeholdermanagement to define test scopes and requirements, estimate testing effort, and build/lead test teamsEnsure completeness and consistency of quality criteria for releases, initiate test specification and automation decisions, and plan functional/non-functional testing considering dependenciesManage defect processes, support business partners in acceptance testing, and maintain transparency of test resultsContinuously review and improve QA processes, actively participate in the QA chapter, and share product-specific strategies, plans, and best practicesQualifikationen8–10+ years in software testing/QA; 3–5+ years in managementExpertise in manual/automated testing and test management toolsExperience leading teams and managing testing projectsStrong stakeholder engagement and reporting abilitiesFamiliarity with risk-based testing and compliance standardsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsStrong stakeholder managementEnglish written amp; spokenSpanish is a nice to haveThe new system will be based on the following main components, so the following skills are required:Platform: SAP BTPFrameworks:SAP UI5 and Fiori Elements for the front end (web)React Native (mobile) with support for iOS and Android, both for tablets and smartphonesCAP node.js for the backendDatabase: HANA Cloud https://www.etengo.de/it-projektsuche/99574/
