Dangerous Goods Expert FM Global Compliance (m/f/d) - 37549

For our client, we are looking for a Dangerous Goods Expert with a focus on FM Global Compliance (m/f/d).


Project Goal: Ensuring compliance with FM Global requirements for the storage of dangerous goods in an automated logistics center.


Project Tasks:



Review and compare FM Global requirements for a logistics site with the standard product assortment, focusing on allowed volumes and liquid types per container.
Analyze FM Global project documentation, especially regarding the storage of aerosol products and flammable liquids.
Assess the ability to meet FM Global criteria for water-miscible groups 1-5 and identify any operational gaps or risks.
Evaluate mixed storage scenarios for aerosols and less hazardous products in automated warehouse systems (ASRS), ensuring compliance with fire protection and storage requirements.
Determine the necessity of steel inlays for less hazardous substances as per FM Global guidelines.
Provide recommendations for compliant storage of flammable liquids under FM Global rules.
Document compliance checks, findings, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner.
Serve as a technical consultant for hazardous goods storage and FM Global compliance topics.



Skills and Qualifications:



Proven expertise in FM Global standards and hazardous material storage, especially in warehouse environments.
Experience with regulatory and insurance-related compliance for storage and fire protection.
Strong analytical skills to compare and interpret international requirements against product portfolios.
Familiarity with automated warehouse systems (ASRS) and fire safety engineering.
Proficiency in documenting technical assessments and compliance processes.
Fluency in English and German for project communication.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
