Für unseren Kunden suchen wir ab Mitte 11/2025 einen Lead Architect (m/w/d) DevOps, IAM/RBAC & Artifactory für den voraussichtlichen Zeitraum bis 04/2026 mit der Option auf Verlängerung. In diesem großen Greenfield-Projekt kann unter Nutzung moderner Technologien ein Beitrag zur Energiewende geleistet werden. Das Projekt ist als Vollzeitbeschäftigung geplant. Mindestens 3 Tage pro Monat finden vor Ort in Frankfurt am Main oder Berlin statt.

Project Description:
The team is building an internal platform for software product developers to accelerate the development and delivery of software products to tackle the massive challenges facing the energy sector. The Platform is a service oriented, cloud-native platform that is being built to provide application teams with self-service capabilities to develop, run and operate their software products. The Platform provides services for application infrastructure, data, service lifecycle management, application build and delivery as well as services to operate their software products. The platform is deployed as a hybrid cloud, encompassing both private cloud and selected public clouds.

Targets in that Position:
- Objective: Design architecture for complex and scalable environments:
> Consulting with EDP product stakeholders from various areas to clarify dependencies and interfaces.
> Monitoring and providing documentation overarching context as needed.
> Being a consultant for the System Architects when designing product-specific architecture.
- Objective: Adapt and improve the lifecycle of platform services:
> Consulting with EDP product stakeholders from various areas to clarify issues and react to feedback on D4A products.
> Assessing and updating architecture to meet business and security standards.
> Coordinating engineering stakeholders, integrate learnings from proofs of concept, and maintain clear service docu mentation.
- Objective: Define and maintain the Architecture Strategy for D4A
> Recording and maintaining architecture features and user stories using Jira and Confluence.
> Ensuring all involved parties have clarity on content, objectives, and expected outcomes.
> Document broader context and interdependencies to support structured and coherent implementation.

Must have:
- Proven experience architecting DevOps solutions within cloud providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, MS Azure), as well as on-premise providing a hybrid cloud user experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, specifically related to Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines, Continuous Deployment (CD) processes, and artifact/image registries (e.g. Artifactory)
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Experience in modular, distributed, highly available software architecture
- Broad technical knowledge of following services offered in any of the big 3 public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure):
> Kubernetes
> IAM and RBAC
> Observability/Monitoring
- Experience in Infrastructure automation such as Infrastructure-as-Code

Nice to have:
- Experience of stakeholder communication in a large organizational setting
- Experience with KRITIS or NIS2 requirements
- Experience in cloud networking, DNS, and firewall concepts
- Experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Authority (CA) and Secret Management (e.g. HashiCorp Vault)
- Experience in Energy Sector/Mission-Critical Systems
