For a project in we are looking for a:



Embedded Security Engineer (m/f/d) – IoT & Secure Boot ID26666-0



Duration : 15.10.2025 – 31.12.25

Volume : 40h onsite, 230 h remote, 10 h travel

Location : remote/Hamburg



The platform is a modular IOT ecosystem that establishes connectivity between any metering technology (electricity meters, gas meters, water meters, heat meters, multimeters, IOT sensors, etc.) and any target applications (energy portal, Optimum, Thingsboard, etc.), organizes data flows and ensures data integrity. The platform enables all customer units to implement IOT use cases in critical and non-critical infrastructure, buildings or areas.



The external contractor takes on the following tasks within the project, which are carried out independently:

- Implementierung von IEC 60870-5-104-Kommuniukation gemäß Kunden-Anforderungen zu neonpulse-Fernwirkgerät

- Etablieren von IPSec-VPN-Verschlüsselung zwischen Fernwirkgerät und SmartM2M-Router

- Implementieren von secureboot auf TPM-Basis für iMX8-Architektur

- Integration von trusted chain-Bootvorgang

- Signieren von Firmware via Gitlab-Pipeline

- Signaturvalidierung via TPM-Plattform

- Statische Codeanalyse durch SonarCube



Skills:

Must Have:

- Programmiersprachen: C/C++, Go, Python

- Ausgeprägte Kenntnisse in IEC 60870-5-104 (Telekontrolle TCP/IP-basiert)

- IPSec (IKE, ESP, AH)

- Betriebssystem: Linux

- Embedded Systeme: Linux (x86/ARM), Yocto, buildroot

Nice to Have:

- Security: i.MX8 HAB (SecureBoot)

- Bus-Systeme: Modbus RTU/TCP

- Microcontroller: ARM cores (NXP, STM32)

- CI/CD: GitLab
