About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking IT infrastructure team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge cloud solutions, automation, and DevOps practices to ensure robust, scalable, and secure platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a key role in shaping the future of our cloud environment.
Your Responsibilities
Ensure the availability and reliability of developer tools, platforms, and infrastructure across all environments
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reproducible deployments
Automate infrastructure and processes using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Proactively monitor systems, analyze incidents, and resolve issues to minimize downtime
Collaborate with IT, product, and project teams, sharing knowledge and best practices
Ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies while promoting innovation
Document processes and solutions clearly to support knowledge transfer and team success
Your Profile
Several years of experience with developer tools (e.g., Visual Studio Code, GIT/Azure DevOps), CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
Solid understanding of networks, security, and virtualization (Windows/Linux)
Completed technical education (university, technical college, or equivalent experience)
Excellent English skills (C1); German is a plus
A proactive, communicative team player who enjoys mentoring and occasionally taking the lead
Nice to Have
Interest in cloud architecture and future growth into an architect role
Familiarity with hybrid solutions and on-premise to cloud migration projects
