The client is looking for an experienced external Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in autumn 2025. The goal is to offer a permanent internal position after a successful onboarding and evaluation period of at least four months.This role offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the further development of international parcel and mail services and to sustainably improve the customer experience.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain stable, reliable systems in a 24/7 operational environment
• Act as a Cloud Champion, taking a leading role in cloud-related initiatives within the team
• Ensure the stability and reliability of cloud-based architectures
• Contribute to shaping an agile team culture and foster continuous improvement
Must-Have Skills
• Experience with modern development tools such as GitHub CI/CD, Jenkins, Artifactory, and SonarQube
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project and documentation management
• Hands-on experience in cloud development (preferably AWS), microservices architecture, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with .NET and Angular
• Familiarity with ArgoCD and GitOps practices
• Knowledge of Kafka
• German or Italian
