SAP MM Consultant

For our client, we are seeking an experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant (Freelance) to support an international rollout project in Taiwan. Following the successful implementation of an SAP R/3 MM template in China, the next phase involves adapting and deploying the solution for Taiwan, taking into account local regulatory, tax, and organizational requirements. The consultant will play a key role throughout the project phases—design, implementation, testing, and go-live—working closely with internal IT, the global template team, and local stakeholders. The assignment is primarily remote, with occasional on-site presence in Stuttgart.

Start: Q1/2026 (flexible)

End: Approx. 7 months duration

Location: Remote / occasional on-site (Stuttgart)

Workload: Approx. 2 days/week



Responsibilities:

- Provide expert support during the design and implementation phases of the SAP MM rollout for Taiwan

- Participate in Fit/Gap analyses and design workshops

- Adapt and optimize the existing template to meet local requirements

- Execute defined customizing and integration tasks

- Support test planning and execution (FUT, SIT, UAT)

- Assist with cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities

- Collaborate closely with project management, IT, the global template team, and local business units



Skills:

- 7+ years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant in international rollout projects

- Deep knowledge of SAP MM (materials management, procurement, goods receipt, inventory)

- Proven experience working with IT teams on template adjustments and implementations

- Project experience in Asia (Taiwan/China preferred)

- Understanding of local regulatory and tax requirements in Taiwan

- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, Fit/Gap analysis, and implementation projects

- Excellent English communication skills (German optional)

Nach der erfolgreichen Einführung eines SAP R/3-MM-Templates in China soll dieses nun unter Berücksichtigung lokaler Anforderungen in Taiwan ausgerollt werden. - Erfahrung in Zusammenarbeit mit IT-Teams bei Template-Anpassungen und Implementierungen

- Projekterfahrung in Asien (Taiwan/China von Vorteil)

- Verständnis für lokale regulatorische und steuerliche Anforderungen in Taiwan

- Erfahrung mit SAP Activate Methodik, Fit/Gap-Analysen und Implementierungsprojekten

- Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (Deutsch optional)
