We are seeking an experienced Freelance/Contractor Program Manager (IT) to lead a critical global SAP Time Management rollout across our international organization.

Project Title: Program Manager (IT) – Global SAP Time Management Rollout 2026
Contract Type: Freelance / Contractor
Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension)
Location: Hybrid model, primarily based in the EU/Germany with occasional global travel required to support rollout phases.
Project Scope: Large-scale, multi-country implementation (>2,000 employees) covering various international locations, specifically Europe, and ideally including APAC and the Middle East regions in phased waves.
Sector Background (Nice-to-have): Experience in engineering, construction, or plant engineering (e.g., semicon, pharma, life sciences) would be beneficial.

 

To be successful in this role, the candidate must demonstrate a strong track record and possess the following mandatory skills: Experience: 8–12 years of professional experience in IT Project and/or Program Management. SAP Domain Expertise: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience leading large-scale SAP projects focused on: SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking OR SAP HCM Time Management (CATS) OR equivalent SAP HR Time projects. Rollout Experience: Proven track record of managing and successfully delivering complex multi-country / international rollouts, particularly across Europe and ideally including APAC and/or the Middle East. Scale: Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale implementations impacting over 2,000 employees. Certifications: Active certification in Project Management, such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent. Legislation Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of international time & attendance legislation (EU + CH). Language: Fluent Business English (written and verbal). German is optional but advantageous. SAP SuccessFactors certification. Familiarity with German Works Council processes. Integration experience with payroll systems (e.g., SAP Payroll, Strada, local providers). Knowledge of German ArbZG/EuGH legislation.
