For our customer in Bavaria, we are looking for a Claroty CTD Engineer (m/f/d) starting in October.
Project Objective: Support in the configuration and implementation of Claroty CTD as well as the analysis of critical infrastructures.
Project Tasks:
Configuration and engineering for Claroty CTD rollouts.
Deployment and configuration for on-site plants.
Analysis of critical infrastructures.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in IT/OT security environments or critical infrastructures.
Basic knowledge of LANs, Ethernet, the TCP/IP protocol suite, and firewall management.
Proven work experience in interdisciplinary project organizations and matrix organizations.
Familiarity with Claroty CTD or CTD + SIEM (e.g., Splunk) + ITSM (optional).
Fundamental understanding of security concepts, including the CIA triad, network segmentation, defense in depth, zero trust, least privilege, access control frameworks, encryption, security zones, and conduits.
Good understanding of contemporary Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), iDMZ principles, application tunneling, inter-VLAN routing, and proxies.
Experience in setting up firewalls, ideally Fortigate; prior experience in configuring IDS is preferable.
Familiarity with IEC 62443 or the NIST framework would be beneficial.
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, and JSON, along with scripting skills in PowerShell/Python, would be advantageous.
Solid technical English skills (upper intermediate or advanced level).
A basic grasp of the operation of industrial control systems (ICS) would be advantageous.
